Superfoods

By admin Jul 2 0

Superfoods are one of the most nutrient-rich foods on the planet. They are very concentrated so you get lots of benefits with small amounts, which is awesome!
You can add them to your smoothies and salads or eat them as snacks!

Superfoods increase the vital force of our body, they are cleansing and alkalizing. They lower inflammation.

Goji Berries 1. Goji Berries:  Used in traditional Chinese medicine for over 5,000 years. Goji berries increase the jing energy of the kidneys and adrenal glands which supports longevity; they contain 18 kinds of amino acids, including all 8 essential amino acids and up to 21 trace minerals. They have vitamin E, antioxidants, iron and much more.

You can rehydrate goji berries by soaking them in water; you can make tea, smoothies, lemonade and desserts  with them.

Tip: Store your goji berries in a dry container. They tend to absorb moisture.

cacao smoothie  2. Cacao: It is really high in antioxidants and a great source of magnesium, manganese, chromium and iron. Chocolate has a cooling energy, but, in excess, it has a heating energy.  It is a natural aphrodisiac (this word comes from Aphrodite the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation).

Cacao is a natural laxative. It soothes menstruation and supports the heart. It also connects s to our heart center.

Cacao goes very well with vanilla, also with cinnamon  nuts, cherries, aloe and blue-green algae.

Tip:  When  making chocolate milk,  add a good amount of cinnamon and all spice to it. It gives it an incredible flavor!

maca 3. Maca:  Increases strength and libido. Contains five times more protein than a potato and four times more fiber. It has been grown in Peru for approximately 2,600 years and it’s the highest altitude crop on Earth grown at 10,000 up to 14,000 feet today by the Quechua people.

Tip:   Maca is a great emulsifier, which means that it will bring the flavors from fat and sugar smoothly together.

4. Spirulina: Is considered the highest source of complete protein (65%) from all food. Its reach in chlorophyll and enzymes.

Spirulina has a blue tint on it due to the fact that it contains phycocyanin. It is a blood builder, contains as much iron as red meat.

Tip: For an amazing skin, mix a tablespoon of spirulina with a teaspoon of water and apply it onto your face, relax for some minutes and wash it off.
